Let me believe that we all already
know what a graph is, but for those of us who are not sure what a graph is;
“GRAPH is a diagram showing the
relation between variable quantities, typically of two variables, each measured
along one of a pair of axes at right angles”.
There are various kinds of graphs,
but I will write specifically on Linear graphs.
Let me also assume you all already
know how to plot graphs, but if my
assumption is false, kindly follow this link
to learn how to plot graphs How to Plot Graphs in Microsoft Excel.
Considering how precious my time is
to me, I will “hit the nail on the head”.
STEPS
TO GENERATING EQUATION AND SQUARE ROOTS VIA GRAPHS
Step
1: Compute your values in X and Y format (See below)

Step
2: Highlight all
the values (both X and Y axes). On Insert menu, click on Scatter (also known as
X and Y Chart). Automatically a graph will appear on your worksheet looking
like this (see below).
Step
3: Right click on
each of the graph nod-lines as shown below and click on Add Trendlines.
Then, on the box that will appear, tick Display Equation on Graph, and Display R-Squared Value on Chart. See
below.
Finally click Close and you are good.
